Folks I have changed my prediction for the British Open. I would like the record to state that the new, official prediction goes as follows:

Tiger by 69 trillion strokes.

I have to admit, for several months (ten years) now I’ve been concerned that Tiger lost his edge. I’d been concerned that the cold-blooded, isolated savage that dominated the sports world for over a decade had been so brutally torn down that we’d never again see the true ruthlessness required to dominate in such a fashion.

That concern has been extinguished.

Oh players get intimidated? That’s their own fucking issue.

The killer instinct has returned. Scratch that, it never left.

It’s major championship week.

Tiger is ready to slit throats and stomp on hearts.
